CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Classroom management will be under the direct supervision of the school staff.

The teacher in charge should have the authority to control any situation that might arise and then should meet with the other authorities to look deeper into the situation.

Proper discipline in the classroom is required at all times. In order to maintain control of the students of the school, the teacher in charge may request necessary and adequate regulations that the situation and circumstances require. The Board of Trustees of District #17 shall allow no hitting or spanking.

During recess, noon recess, and before and after school playtime, the students shall remain in order at all times. No running, screaming, pushing, etc., shall be permitted in the school building. Proper disciplinary action will be taken by the teacher or teachers' aide in charge.
