FIELD TRIPS AND BASKETBALL GAMES

A signed permission slip is required for children who are to leave the school grounds on field trips, tours, or sports events.

When on a field trip, if a child is to be picked up by a parent at a place other than the school, the child will be picked up on time or he/she will return to the school with the bus so that the child is not left unattended. These arrangements must be made beforehand by the parents.

When basketball games are played at Morin School, parents of non-playing students must be present in order for the student not to be put on their usual bus. If a student has permission from their parents to stay with another student's parents at the game, a note to this effect must be received by the teachers.

Activity Eligibility (Track & Basketball): Students must be passing the 5 core curricular classes (math, science, reading, English, and social studies) to be eligible to participate in scheduled activities. In addition, students may not have incomplete homework, checks, or suspension within one month of a scheduled activity. If not enough students are eligible to participate, the games scheduled for that week will be forfeited.
