HOURS OF SCHOOL

School begins at 9:00 a.m. and will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m. The school building opens at 7:45 a.m. and closes after the departure of the second bus.

PROCEDURE FOR SNOW DAY

The decision of canceling the school day is left up to the First Student Bus driver. He/she will radio in to First Student and check on road conditions reported by the buses with earlier shifts. If he/she recognizes the road conditions to be too severe, Morin School will cancel the school day. In the case of a cancellation, the bus driver will contact the Lead teacher by 7:00 a.m. The Lead teacher will then call the remaining teachers and notify them of the cancellation. Each staff member is responsible for contacting a group of families and notifying them of the cancellation of the school day. The Lead teacher will also call KGHL and Y93 Radio stations to notify them of the cancellation. All calls should be made no later than 7:20 a.m. A make-up day will be organized at a later date to compensate for the cancellation.

LIBRARY

All library books shall be returned by the end-of-the school year. Books not accounted for by this time shall be sold to the borrower for the cost of the book. All books should be cataloged and checked out of the library.

MILK

Milk money will be collected once a month. The charge is subject to change due to any increase of cost which may occur.

This milk is to be consumed at school and under no circumstances are the cartons of milk to leave the school premises.This milk will be distributed under the supervision of the teacher during the lunch period. If any school days are missed by a student taking milk, The correct number of cartons will be distributed to him by the teacher upon his return.
