Morin Elementary School Handbook
Introduction

8824 Pryor Road
Billings, MT  59101
August 23, 2004

This handbook is compiled as a guideline for parents and students.  We hope that with the use of the handbook rules might be understood from the beginning to avoid problems in the future.

Input from parents and teachers is essential to a smooth running school system.  The Board invites your suggestions or comments at anytime.  Comments and suggestions can be directed to any member of the Board of Trustees.

Parents are encouraged to visit the school and sit in on classes to observe.  It is best to notify the teacher prior to visiting so that you can be aware of any special events that may be planned for the day.

Parents are welcome to attend and discuss problems with the School Board at their regular monthly meetings.  The meetings are held in the school, on the first Wednesday of every month during the school year, at 7:00 p.m.  Board members are of the opinion that matters concerning school business should be presented to the Board in writing prior to the meeting.  The clerk should be notified seven days in advance of the meeting for items to be placed on the agenda.

Please sign the last page of this handbook, detach, and return it to your child's teacher.

We sincerely believe that this community has a school system to be proud of and that the students acquire a quality education in a good environment.

"If a man empties his purse into his head, no one can take it from him."  Benjamin Franklin.
