Policy - School Board policies are statements which set
forth the purposes and prescribe in general

the superintendent and his staff can discharge
their assigned duties with positive direction.
They tell what is expected or wanted. They
may also indicate why and how much.

Rules and Regulations - These are specific directions
telling how, by whom, where, and when things
are to be done. They apply policy to prac-
tice. Execution of policy is through the
administration applying detailed steps and
proceedings through rules and regulations.
